About Us
As Presbyterian Christians, we believe:
The Bible is the inspired word of God, authoritative for a life of faith and service to the One True Word--Jesus Christ.
It is Jesus Christ who calls us to discipleship and to life together as God's community--the Church.
Christ is the Head of the Church, and we are members of His body.
Christ's body is diverse, yet as Presbyterian Christians, we live as part of a unique tradition within Christianity known as the Reformed tradition. Our interpretation of the faith stems historically from John Calvin, a Swiss reformer, of the 16th century.

Andrea Rock
Pastor
A native of Massachusetts, I happily escaped New England winters by moving first to Arizona, then to LA, which was the realization of a lifelong dream. I loved the West, but I missed my family too much to stay, so I moved back East in 2103. I honestly expected to just tolerate North Carolina, while loving being near my kids/grandkids, but to my great surprise, I felt at home immediately. I’ve made wonderful friends, and love it here. Best of all, God led me to this loving, close-knit church family at WPC, and I feel truly blessed to serve as their pastor. In my spare time, I love, of course, to spend time with family and travel with them, walk on wonderful NC trails, take Pilates Reformer classes, attend plays and concerts, read both fiction and nonfiction, and throw large dinner parties.

John Stroud
Director of Music and Organist
Hi, I’m John Stroud, the Director of Music here at Westminster Presbyterian Church. I can truly say that I have been blessed to be a part of this church. Our members are always pleased to have visitors join us for worship. If you are looking for a church to visit, please come to see us. We worship in a beautiful sanctuary that has been a popular location for weddings for many years.
If you would like to participate in our music program, I would love to talk to you, please email me! I hope to see you at church one Sunday soon!
